Chang, raised by his grandparents, encountered the challenges elderly individuals face when bathing while caring for his 80-year-old grandparents. Determined to create a solution, he developed a compact, low-noise, water-saving shower device that doesn’t require a bathroom for use.

With a background in applied physics and under the guidance of his university mentor Daniel Wolverson, Chang developed advanced technologies including high-vacuum, low-noise turbine blades, and water-air separation within a compact chamber. These innovations made the creation of this revolutionary shower machine possible, bringing ease and efficiency to elderly care.
